The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada is dedicated to working within the community to fulfill heartfelt wishes for children diagnosed with life threatening illness. Celebrating over 29 years, we have granted over 20,000 wishes from coast to coast, more than all other Canadian wish granting agencies combined.
As part of the Chapter Fundraising Team, you are responsible for leading and managing revenue generation through existing 1st party events including planning, securing sponsorships, media relations, donor development, execution and follow up of events. You also have responsibility for stewarding existing 3rd party relationships and cultivating opportunities in the community through corporate and individual support to help increase the Chapters annual revenue goals.
You bring 2 to 3 years’ experience supporting/managing fundraising initiatives. You pro-actively promote the foundation in the community and cultivate relationships with existing donors and sponsors. You have an ability to cultivate and build positive lasting relationships with new prospects, turning new prospects into revenue generation and the ability to apply event management principles and processes to manage the full cycle of events at the chapter level ensuring high standards for all events are met.
