We are currently looking for a full-time book keeper/office administrator to join our team. The core skills and responsibilities of this position are:

Job Responsibilities:

ACCOUNTING

  • Managing full-cycle accounts receivable and account payables, including tracking, processing, pay maintenance, invoicing and reporting;
  • Input of GST and federal tax remittances;
  • Handling bank and credit card reconciliations on all various accounts;
  • Handling bank deposits and processing expense claims;
  • Reporting weekly + monthly financial statements; maintaining and

preparing general ledgers;

  • Completing the preparation of year-end financial materials for Chartered Accountant

OFFICE /HR ADMINISTRATION

  • Managing and coordinating office administrative processes as it relates to: general engagement and client relationship management, supply management, front-end office management, staff scheduling and event management;
  • Processing weekly and monthly project & staffing productivity reports;
  • Administering all aspects of payroll; and
  • Coordinating the recruitment process including facilitating new hire orientations;

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of an Accounting Certificate or Diploma;
  • Minimum two years bookkeeping or related accounting experience;
  • Minimum two years administrative and/or HR experience;
  • Strong working knowledge of Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, MS-Office, Apple and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset;
  • Strong work ethic; punctual, reliable, trustworthy;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
