Brief Job Description / Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to work in busy environments with great attention to details
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Answering, screening and distributing incoming calls
  • Ensures smooth operation and organization of the Sales and Banquet

departments

  • Preparation of BEO and client follow up
  • General office administration including various secretarial and clerical duties
  • Professionally represents the hotel at all times as well at special events
  • Completion of weekly productivity to be given to Sales & Catering Manager
  • Follow up on all functions within 72 hours of a function
  • Maintaining & processing of billing for function
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Conduct site tours
  • 35-40 hours per week (includes weekends & special events)
  • Reports directly to the Sales & Catering Manager

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Previous administration or sales experience an asset
  • Extreme attention to details & superior customer service skills
  • Highly motivated, dependable and reliable
  • Knowledge of Opera system preferred
  • Able to multitask
  • Post secondary education and/or a Hospitality degree an asset
