The Sales Manager will grow sales in Western Canada by cultivating current customers and recruiting new customers. The Sales Manager will promote the charter and management services offered by Chartright and will provide the technical advice, cost quotations and service support necessary to this objective.

The Sales Manager will be expected to conduct him/herself in a professional and ethical manner at all times and will be required to integrate his/her sales objectives with the strategic goals of the Company. The Sales Manager will report to the Director of Business Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate with management in the establishment of sales goals
  • Develop sales leads through inquiry, observation, research and cold-call
  • Analyze customer requirements and match these requirements to various Company programs
  • Prepare & conduct sales presentations to new and existing customers
  • Prepare & deliver charter quotations; assist in the preparation & delivery of management quotations
  • Negotiate service pricing in accordance with the Company‚Äôs requirements for transaction profitability
  • Maintain & improve customer relationships and customer satisfaction
  • Assist clients with special requests (supply information, resolved complaints, etc.)
  • Visit clients at departure/arrival to measure and/or provide client services
  • Interact with Operations and Sales to optimize fleet utilization
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of company aircraft and services
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive environment
  • Participate and be active in local industry organizations
  • Present a professional image and practice honesty and integrity at all times
  • Such other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development

Accountable for:

  • Achievement of sales objectives
  • Accuracy, timeliness and consistency in customer communications & quote requests
  • Adherence to company policy and protocol
  • Timely completion of administrative duties

Working Hours:

  • 40 Hours per week flex schedule
  • Occasional after-hours access via company mobile device

Remuneration:

  • Base Salary plus incentive pay
  • Standard company benefits
