The Marketing Department of Century Casino requires a Marketing Manager who will be responsible to ensure that marketing strategies and initiatives are effectively promoting the property and drawing guests to the facility, while developing and enhancing Century Casino’s brand and offerings.
The successful candidate will work to increase casino revenues through effective management of marketing activities and work to develop and implement promotions and activities to increase revenues in a multi outlet entertainment facility. Additionally, she/he will be responsible for increasing and maintaining the player loyalty membership club. She/he will manage and ensure staff performs in compliance with the operating license and, as directed, takes actions to enforce gaming regulations. The candidate must demonstrate well-rounded experience in marketing, public speaking, media relations and publicity. Furthermore, effective and diplomatic customer service with superior communication skills, including experience negotiating and developing positive contracts with employees, customers, AGLC, media relations, vendors, and all other stakeholders.
The candidate must display excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, the ability to work well under pressure, make responsible decisions quickly within specific deadlines. The successful candidate will have excellent business acumen and experience with budgets. She/he will demonstrate effective problem-solving skills possessing superior management and leadership abilities complimented by solid mentoring and coaching knowledge.
The successful candidate will perform public relations with all stakeholders and execute all responsibilities in compliance with all regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing up to five direct reports who supervise a total of 10-20 employees. Experience and knowledge of the casino industry and gaming rules and regulations is considered an asset.
Degree or diploma in marketing is required or equivalent experience. Five (5) or more years of recent and related successful experience in marketing and public relations. Three (3) or more years of related managerial experience.
