The Food and Beverage department requires an individual to perform all operational Food and Beverage Service Manager Functions to develop, maintain and enhance positive relations with all customers and staff members. The Food and Beverage Service Manager monitors restaurant activity and ensures continuous provision of prompt and courteous service. They plan and direct the performance of all dining room operations and develop staff to meet and exceed performance expectations. . Some responsibilities will include: Reconciliation of daily, weekly and monthly sales, Scheduling, supervising, and mentoring staff to assist with continuing training and development and ensuring quality service and professionalism at all times. Experience with banquet operations and setup as well as banquet sales are an asset
Graduation from High School or equivalent education and experience preferred. Two (2) or more years of recent and related experience in a Food and Beverage managerial role are an asset for this position. Candidates must have valid ProServe certification provided by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission.
