a very fast pace productive place to work at and fun!
Manager (Current Employee), San Francisco, CA – October 21, 2013
Pros: free lunches, free sodas and discounted employee parking.
Cons: no time to enjoy a game!
a typical day at work is checking in, count starting moneys/inventory, checking-in everybody coming to work at my food stand; assigned duties and make sure everything is working properly. I had learned how to delegate, to manage a work place without always being supervise and to be accountable for, Management is okay, always on top of their game, co-workers always need supervision but, most of them are fun to work with and are hard workers. The hardest part of this job is when everybody is gone home and you still have to stay late and be accountable for everything that went on that night or day at work! Nevertheless, it is very pleasant to be surrounded by people that care about you, weather they work with you or not there is always somebody that brings a smile on you!
Cashier/Customer Service (Current Employee), Vancouver, BC – November 25, 2014
It is a fast paced environment but the time I was there I felt like I was free to do whatever I wanted too. There was no control of any sort by anybody. I sometimes found other to be off task and just do what ever it is they wanted too.

Pros: free meals, great pay
Cons: lack of hours
I enjoyed the majority of my time with Centerplate. They had a great cafeteria at the convention center and the pay was great for hosted events. I loved my coworkers at both establishments. The supervisors are good. Be sure to have your walking shoes on if you get a job at the convention center. I must have walked 10 miles some days at work!

There is not a whole lot I can say about the company. Overall, they are very bland. Nothing sticks out as phenomenal nor detrimental. Everything about their values and their workers leads to the word "bland."
