It is a fast paced environment but the time I was there I felt like I was free to do whatever I wanted too. There was no control of any sort by anybody. I sometimes found other to be off task and just do what ever it is they wanted too.

Barback/Bartender (Former Employee), San Diego, CAJanuary 24, 2015
Pros: free meals, great pay
Cons: lack of hours
I enjoyed the majority of my time with Centerplate. They had a great cafeteria at the convention center and the pay was great for hosted events. I loved my coworkers at both establishments. The supervisors are good. Be sure to have your walking shoes on if you get a job at the convention center. I must have walked 10 miles some days at work!

This is where I learned teamwork is very important and how working hard gets you more opportunities. The most enjoyable part of the job is that you could catch one an athlete walking if you are in the right place.

It was a great place to work all the way around. The only thing that was a seasonal job. Came in got dressed and prepped for the game then went out and cooked for all the fans of the timbers.

Human Resources Recruiter (Former Employee), Miami Gardens, FLDecember 3, 2014
There is not a whole lot I can say about the company. Overall, they are very bland. Nothing sticks out as phenomenal nor detrimental. Everything about their values and their workers leads to the word "bland."
