rather normal company. good trucks. no inverter, fridge. electric APU for a nice quiet 10HR break. I live in washington state, they had a hard time getting me home. liked my Driver Manager.

was a great expierance got to see the US and all its beauty from NY to Washington State from California to Fla . Time to come home and enjoy the family and grandkids. hardest part of the whole job is to keep from geting tired and traffic during peak times.

after a couple of months they cut the miles out. if you are unable to go to canada. then the miles become so poor that the gross weekly pay ends up becoming the most of $320 dollars a week before anything comes out. and that's pay is for 7 days a week. true low ballers.

celadon bought my company in march of 2012 ....it started out ok i guess but then this place really hit the skids .I always was leary about bigger companys and now i know why out of 14 yrs in this biz i have never seen a place that could careless for its drivers than this place ...the trucks are always breaking down ,,,even though there brand new and – more... if you break down your on your own ...paid for the hotel and never got paid back ....you go though dispatchers like toilet paper and the ops managers are hard to reach than the pope...join this place if you want to but be warned ...alot of bs is comming your way if you do.....good luck driver .... – less

no worry on miles, just a number to the company, do your job no problems

Overall the company is very disorganised. Most of the time the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. Their main focus seemed to be, buying up other companies and hiring those employees while ignoring the employees they already had.

good company to work for. lots of miles not much home time. nice equiptment. managment is horrable.

This job allowed me to travel. The hardest part of my job was being stuck in Canada for days waiting on a load. I enjoy driving but i am ready to use my degree and have a stable job where i can be home every night.

Worked on their South east regional fleet, never got home on the weekends like promised, pay is .30cpm! DM are a joke in Greensboro,NC! They would give u a 1,000mile run 2 deliver in 3days and couldnt deliver sooner of u get writing up then after 3days with the 1,000mile run u sit and wait for 1day 1 get next load, lots of local runs under 200miles, – more... problem is those local runs would be out of their Virginia or Greensboro terminal and thats not my home state so it aint like a do a 200mile run then go home. Their terminals are a joke! Virginia and Greensboro terminal dont even have a shower for drivers, swift terminals are better than theirs! Celadon terminals most r just dirt lot. Good thing is u get new truck with apu that u gona be needing the apu with all that seating and waiting u will do – less

Celadon gives back what you put in. If you are aggressive and stay in touch with your DM you will keep moving. If you sit and compalin you will sit and go broke. Benifits are good, Pay is what you expect with large company. Equipment is new and kept in good repair. Few worries with DOT inspections.

Celadon is a great company to work for. The staff is friendly and tries to help the drivers when needed. The frieght is plentifull and so are the miles given,when the economy is good. I have and would recommend Celadon to any driver looking for a stable company to work for wether it be as a company driver or lease purchase driver.

Sat way too much there. The pay is low and and so are the miles.

Made false claims about home time. Made false claims about pay rate. Made false claims about the mileage I would be getting. Do not pay for actual miles driven. Lots of lost time. Plus many more things that make them a terrible company to work for.

I like working for Celadon they do give you long loads along with short ones balancing out hrs.
