Cefco Canada, the Canadian division of a privately held global supplier and manufacturer of commercial, industrial, institutional and residential lighting and electrical products has an immediate opening for an experienced Business Development Manager for its Central Ontario Territory.
Managing a large portfolio, the successful candidate will be challenged to develop and further grow wallet share within existing Points of Distribution, further solidify and nurture/grow the existing relationships as well as work within the assigned territory at growing our market footprint and various exclusive brands.
As the Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will be the Ambassador for both external AND internal parties. Providing relevant feedback to their team on areas of growth potential, market strategies and branding opportunities.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and Canadian Division Manager, you will be the master of your portfolios growth and ultimate success.
This position is a home office based position with the understanding that 80+ percent of your week will be spent outside and customer facing..... You will be a road warrior!
The successful candidate will match the following strengths and skills:
Minimum 3 years Sales Experience
Working knowledge and understanding of the basics of sales
Ability to travel overnight when necessary
Accountability / Credibility / Ethics
Understanding of a TEAM environment
Computer skills with knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and relevant Microsoft Suite Products
Ability to Effectively Communicate and Interface at all levels

Previous experience within the electrical wholesale market
Compensation is aggressive and based on proven experience. Base salary, annual portfolio profit bonus, cell phone, laptop, iPad, company car, benefits.
