Canada’s largest publishing company is expanding again. Pyramid Media Corporation, publisher of numerous monthly, quarterly and yearly publications an Advertising Manager to maintain our Alberta clients.

We are looking for career oriented and responsible individuals with the desire to succeed who are go-getters. You will be responsible for soliciting advertising contracts throughout Canada in our numerous publications. This is a full time position consisting of 40 hours per week. We are located in the Sunlife Financial building downtown, close to all amenities.

Job description

  • Directs the entire sales process from account identification to close
  • Develops and Manages customer relations and sales
  • Accountable for servicing / customer satisfaction for accounts in assigned territory
  • Measured against advertising sales revenue per assigned territory / targets
  • Reports to the Director of Sales
  • Generates revenue
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Work on Advertising solutions
  • Sales and Prospects
  • Lead generation

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of advertising sales experience successfully managing a territory or 2+ years experience working in a telemarketing / call centre environment selling on the phone.
  • Outstanding customer support/ services skills required
  • Exceptional PC skills with the following Microsoft applications Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent business presentation skills including strong oral and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to meet stretch sales goals in a challenging environment
  • Effectively manage issues and relationships
  • Other duties as assigned
