Senior operator (Former Employee) – Grande prairie, Calgary, Red deer, Fort Mcmurray. – 10 October 2012
Just keep your eyes and ears open. You will find out over time. You will be promised the world and be able to get away with things for a while and even given a few perks to keep you there. Don't trust anyone all backstabbers. High turnover rate for a reason. It's an ok place to start if you don't have any skills and still need to make some money, but don't let your guard down - unless your family / close friends in cohoots you will just be a number.
Administrative Support (Former Employee) – Sarnia, ON – 13 March 2018
No one is happy here. Everyone walks on eggshells due to the new management "team". Multiple daily head games. Revolving door of employees either voluntarily quitting or being terminated. Management is nice to worker's faces but trashes everyone behind their back, especially field workers. Extremely unprofessional including racial slurs, multiple homophobic remarks. Zero confidentiality as personal problems with employees was disclosed to everyone as gossip. Lack of HR support in Sarnia location. They're aware of the problems but hands are tied with bureaucratic nightmare. The only enjoyable part of this job was when everyone could just be themselves when management was out running their errands. Once managers returned everyone had to pretend like they were brilliant. Strong acting roles required.
