Childlike fun.
Showroom Cast (Former Employee), Mesa, AZ – January 22, 2013
Pros: fun and exciting.
Cons: you have to dress up in the mouse suit.
As long as you like kids, this is an easy job. You just do your job while entertaining guests and maintaining a safe work environment.

Team Member Trainer/ Cashier (Former Employee), Tyler, TX – January 19, 2013
Pros: free lunch as a trainer and flexible work schedule
I have acquired the skill of explaining a sequence of order process. I learned to delicate responsibilities to those underneath myself including all of the ten cashiers that I trained. I acquired the knowledge of working a cash register, making deposits, and dealing with large sums of money. When working with money I am very organized and precise to – more... make sure all the money was accounted for by the end of the night. Working at Chuck E Cheese enhanced my ability to communicate well with others even under high pressure situations. When a guest got upset for whatever reason I learned to defuse the situation rather than adding gas to ignite the situation. Working busy Saturdays during the first quarter of the month is the most hectic time of the year, so I know how to work under stress and pressure to get things done. – less

Entertainment and a Fun Involvement
Team Two Trainer (Current Employee), Ridgeland, MS – January 18, 2013
a typical day at work contains doing parties all day which involves interacting with adults and children which means you are dealing with alot of attitudes which means you as a person has to stay postitive.

I have learned that you have to be patients with people and respectful even if they are rude to you as a person.

My management staff and co workers – more... are ok I mean honestly what ever job you go to there will be issues that you as a person must maintain to be the bigger person.

The hardest part of my job is me working so hard and staying on that job for so long and I dont get any credits I only have gotten one raise when I know in my heart I deserved better.

The most enjoyable part of my job is watching the guests leave happy and hearing all the great things said about me. – less

CHUCK E CHEESE
Host/Hostess (Former Employee), Burlington, NJ – January 15, 2013
Pros: being chuckie
Cons: no hours!
It was a okay job when i was at work. They gave me no hours, and when they did they would send me home early because we were too over-staffed. There was never a hard part of the day, the most enjoyable part of the day is being chuckie.

Chuck E. Cheese Entertainment
Assistant Manager (Former Employee), Tuscaloosa, AL – January 15, 2013
Pros: free tokens for my kids, free food, and my co-workers and being able to move around to other stores.
Cons: i having to work more and not to be with my family.
A typical day at work would consist of making pizzas, prepping the ingredients for the pizzas as well as the salad bar. Balancing the cash drawers and making deposit, as well as dropping deposits. Setting up birthday parties and tending to the guests as well. I learned how to manage my staff, how to mutitask and how to run different areas of a business. – more... Management was a great experience as well. The feeling of being in charge and making sure that projects, and tasks were done correctly and was on my hands was a good feeling to me. My co-workers were great to be around, and I have learned a lot from. I was able to work at other stores as well and to learn alot from them to better me in job objectives. The hardest thing about the job for me was my scheduling. I had to become very quickly adjusted with the swinging of my days and nights changing at the drop of the dime. The most enjoyable part of the job is the guests. I really enjoyed the envoriment of the place. I enjoyed making the people around me feel good with their experience. – less

Uncomfortable
Party Host (Former Employee), Waldorf, MD – January 3, 2013
The management at this location was not professional and was not very helpful to work under. Sometimes one of the managers would use profanity and unprofessional tones with the other employees. This place was not the best place to work.

Excellent Childrens Enviroment
Cashier (Former Employee), Vancouver, WA – January 2, 2013
A CEC member has to pay close attention to their surroundings. the team does a great job of working together to create magic and memories. keeping a keen eye on kid check is a "big-deal". Kid check is the most important position. your child is stamped with the "magic stamp" and you are stamped with the same number. who you come with is who you leave – more... with. it's all apart of CEC safety and rules. there are many things about CEC to tell about but this is probably my favorite. – less

Pros: fun and great atmosphere
Cons: healthcare and hours
A day at chuck E. cheese would be alot of kids running around and seeing chucky. I learn the two different atmsopher with kids and adult. Managing would be mantaining the kids party and and my co- workers. The Hardest part would be getting the kids together and getting them to eat cake and ice cream the fun part would be seeing there faces when the – more... kids see the animals move and dances. – less

High paced, with many customers, but very rewarding
Technical Manager (Former Employee), Charlotte, NC – December 18, 2012
Pros: free games, free lunches, dinner
Cons: people were often destructive
Maintained all equipment, games, kitchen equipment, and managed a group of employees in technical aspects as well.

Once PMI's were completed the store was opened for business. Once customers came in to the store, their satisfaction was our goal.

Hardest part was keeping the games working. Many games were insufficient, but with hard work done correctly – more... the games performed wonderfully and accumulated many sales.

Watching kids enjoy themselves was the most rewarding part. – less
