CDW is a great place to work due to the dynamic atmosphere and supportive coworkers. The position was a stepping stone for me and was not where I wanted to build my career, so it came time to part ways.
I learned a lot about IT as well as the sales profession, and built extensive experience managing customer relationships and coordinating various projects.
CDW allows its salespeople a lot of flexibility in how they conduct their business and invests a lot of resources in continued training and development. Company events allow coworkers to come together and bond in a friendly atmosphere.
As with any sales position, the job itself is the most daunting part - dealing with rejection, tough timelines, and the tedium of administrative tasks which can sometimes get in the way of revenue-generating activities. However, the challenge is its own reward for the eager salesperson.
