THE ROLE:

Reporting to our Vice President, Marketing this role will have overall strategic responsibility for:

  • Developing national promotions and lead generating activities
  • Leading a Divisional Field Marketing Team
  • Works with Divisional Sales Vice President’s to co-develop regional marketing plans
  • Assists with the negotiations of 3rd party agreements, generates national level contracts to assist with local expenses

In addition to the above, key focus areas for this role will be:

1. MARKET PLANNING

  • Develop national, divisional and regional marketing plans
  • Set the national & divisional strategies
  • Oversees customer & competitive research projects
  • Maintain and supervise coordinator processes
  • Generate and chair Management Team Ad hoc meetings

2. EVENT & PROMOTION MANAGEMENT

  • Intermediate contact for all event sponsorships
  • Intermediate contact for all ad & promotional opportunities
  • Responsible for all direct or indirect executional aspects of national and regional events & promotional programs
  • Collaborates with RSM's to develop and manage all regional branch internal & external collateral / signage maximization
  • Responsible for all regional pre & post event / program ROI evaluations

3. BUDGET MANAGEMENT

  • Responsible for managing national budgets within predetermined limits
  • Oversee the expenditures of the divisional budgets
  • Responsible for all ROI & sales metrics based on budget investments from a national level
  • Collaborates with DVP & DFMM to determine budget allocations by region, branch & product.
  • Reviews all pre & post budget analysis reports and presentations

4. SALES SUPPORT

  • Responsible for reaching predetermined leads generation goals, in alignment with divisional sales & marketing goals
  • Responsible for the tracking, management & reporting of all lead generation efforts on a weekly basis
  • Responsible for the development & availability of all marketing / advertising tools developed by HQ
  • Works with the Divisional FMM, to plan & execute quarterly sales /marketing interlock activities
  • Presents weekly and monthly marketing activity accountability report
  • Works with Training to prepare selling presentations for corporate needs and sales
  • Create promotional material for the branches to use to help promote their products and services
  • Establish strong business to business relationships and strategies for growth and expansion of service offers
  • Helps develop and execute retail marketing strategy and identify key areas for growth
  • Coordinate with brand teams for artwork for client communication and advertising needs ensuring adherence to brand standards and strategy
  • Ensure retail locations support the overall brand vision as well as client traffic and sales goals
  • Ensure consistent, cohesive and brand appropriate messaging
  • Stay abreast of trends, best practices and emerging platforms in the fashion and retail space and track competitive activity
  • Partner with external agencies related to advertising, exclusive product and promotions, social media support and retail events/messaging

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Degree in Marketing
  • Minimum 5 to 7 experience in a National Retail Marketing Management role
  • Experience in managing agencies and third party vendors
  • Strong background in lead generation management
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive to take on new tasks
  • Must possess strong business writing and communication skills
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Meticulous and organized
