THE ROLE:

Working directly under our Chief Operating Officer, you will assist in supporting our Executive team as well as our other Administrative Assistants in the corporate head office located in Edmonton, AB.

More specifically, this involves:

o Assists the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Senior Divisional Vice President (SDVP) with administrative duties
o Liaison with Divisional Vice Presidents and Regional Managers
o Liaison with Executive Assistant to CEO
o Assist other VPs as required with administrative tasks
o Experience with project management
o Assist with preparation of reports and spreadsheets; strong skills with Excel
o Making travel arrangements for COO and SDVP
o Managing the calendars for both COO and SDVP
o Preparing and organizing Divisional Vice President meetings
o Minute taking as needed
o Cover reception as required
o General administrative tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

As the ideal candidate you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years administrative assistant experience
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to perform in a fast past office environment and to meet deadlines, both independently and as a part of a team
  • Outgoing, confident , active and engaging as a team participant
  • Discreet and respects privacy and confidentiality at all times
  • Has a high level of professionalism and conducts themselves in a distinguished and professional manner
