Very productive workplace
Ink Technician (Former Employee), Brighton, MIJuly 5, 2014
Pros: consistant shift hours
Cons: no health care offered
We were consistently busy with walk-in customers and business orders. I learned to disassemble and reassemble a variety of printer toner cartridges and test print them for quality assurance. We were a small business with 4 employees, one of which was the owner who was on site working along side us on a daily basis. The most challenging part of my employment – more... was being able to complete very large orders on a deadline while also waiting on customers who needed their cartridges immediately. I truly enjoyed how well we all worked together as a team to make the business succeed. – less

Working with ink and toner remanufacturing of cartridges, was busy and tedious, Staff was pleasant, customers loyal. Overall good place to spend 99% of your time.

Laser Technician/Manager (Current Employee), Oklahoma City, OKMay 20, 2014
Pros: discounts on cartridges, and laid back environment
Cons: pay and occasional upset customers
I've enjoyed my last seven years at Cartridge World. It has it's ups and downs, but it's normally a fun job. I've learned a lot about retail, sales, and customer service. My co-workers are usually great and fun to be around. Typically our days are taking care of customers and filling cartridges for orders or walk-ins. The best part about it is the environment, – more... and the worst part about it is the pay. But overall it's a great place to work. – less

Customer Service/Sales/Production Tech/Driver (Former Employee), Chico, CAApril 15, 2014
They treat you horrible with no chance for promotion. They take the words of others instead of getting the full story. Little to no training and expect you to master everything and get the product out with no flaws at all. Not recommended for anyone to work at or purchase from.

Owner and Operator (Current Employee), Scottsdale, AZMarch 14, 2014
Pros: it's me and the customer
Cons: it's me and the customer
Having tried everything, CW allowed me to experience the ownership role in a business. Wearing multiple hats and growing the business - "at my direction" has been fun and rewarding. The business after 10 years is truely running itself with a great straff and established procedures. Time to again venture into the business world and contine to gain life – more... long experience. – less

My Time here, was excellent, I have no bad words about the company nor the work they provide. I had excellent managers, excellent staff and overall the locations of all shops where fantastic.

Loved every minute working there, dealing with customers you never knew who could walk through the doors. The managers were young, fun vibrant and pushing to – more... make us a team better ourselves and better the prospects of the company, they would include us in decisions abotu stock etc. One of the best jobs i had. – less

Once you opened the register, you would make out a list of what cartridges you needed for the day. Next, you would fill, test, and package cartridges. During this time you also had to answer phone calls and attend to customers. This place has very interesting people. In many different ways, either bad or good, you always had to use your people skills – more... to keep control of the situation. Also, when businesses had an account with us, you had to place an order and also enter that into the POS system, creating an invoice to their account. Once, this was done you had to put the order together to be taken out as an delivery. The co-workers were my favorite part of the job. These people are so great, usually, anyone can fit right in. They all work as a team. If they did not, then the day was a lot longer and harder. That usually helped out with the team work. Every one pulls their own weight. The only hard part about the job was keeping everyone happy. Having to balance out schedules with co-workers or keeping every customer happy. Some people no matter how hard you work to make them happy, they just won't be. Realizing you and every had tried their best, still you couldn't help getting a little upset from a customer getting the best of you that day. – less
