Cargojet Income Fund (the Fund) is a Canadian-based provider of time sensitive overnight air cargo service. Its main air cargo business comprises operating a domestic overnight air cargo co-load network between thirteen major Canadian cities; providing dedicated aircraft to various customers on an aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) basis, operating between points in Canada and the United States; operating a scheduled international route for multiple cargo customers between the United States and Bermuda, and operating a regional air cargo network servicing 19 smaller cities in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. The Fund operates 10 Boeing 727-200 (B727) series cargo aircraft, three of which are leased and seven owned. In May 2008, Cargojet Airways (Cargojet), a company owned by the Fund, acquired a 51% interest in Prince Edward Air Ltd. (PEAL), a privately owned regional operator of cargo aircraft based in Eastern Canada.
