We are hiring for Canada's fastest-growing national mortgage brokerage and leasing company.
We have an immediate opening for a Mortgage Compliance Administrative Assistant.
 
The Mortgage Loan Compliance Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing mortgage compliance administrative support to Mortgage staff team while successfully managing multiple projects and priorities.

Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in French & English, courteously, and professionally. Candidates must also demonstrate good grammar, spelling, proofreading, and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must.

Essential job functions include:
Prepares Documents: Responsible for typing, transcribing, versions and redlining regulatory compliance documents accurately and within requested timeframes, prioritizing work among assignments and meeting specific deadlines on projects.  

Maintains & Organize Files: Maintains paper and electronic files in compliance with current policies. Creating accurate client files and indexes. Performs routine filing and retrieves files as needed.

Front Desk: Responsible for professionally managing incoming calls and assignments, checking on client files and calling clients if additional information is needed to complete their file.

Communicates effectively with others in the firm. Is proactive in anticipating the business needs in order to keep with Mortgage compliance

Operate office equipment including PCs, printers, phones, copiers, facsimiles and have a vast knowledge of the different software programs, i.e. Excel, Word, and CRM systems.
Cope successfully with demands remaining calm under pressure. Conduct all business in a confidential manner.
Is flexible to take on other duties as assigned
 

Qualifications
·         Ability to deliver effective results
·         Sound judgment and decision making skills
·         Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
·         Excellent service skills
 
Required Education and Experience
2 years’ relevant data entry experience.
Experience in an administrative role in Mortgage or Banking industry a plus
Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and CRM systems
Previous transcription experience would be helpful.
 
Language Skills
·         Ability to speak, read and write in the FLUENTLY in English and French language
·         Fluency is other languages is a plus
·         Articulate speaker with good interpersonal skills

Salary between $14-$16/hr based on experience
