About the Job
What's the Gig?
Working with the Virgin Mobile Training and Communication team, you will be responsible to deliver sales training to Virgin Mobile's Channel Partners, including National Retail, Virgin Mobile Corporate stores and new channels. You will need to synthesize complex requirements into creative training material and sales tools that adhere to our Brand Guidelines. Your focus will be living the Brand through both training design and delivery activities by understanding the needs of our retailers in order to provide them with the most relevant information, while staying on top of new/in-market campaigns.
The really important stuff...
o Shaping the reception of the Virgin Mobile brand in both English and French in all retail channels in Canada.
o Deliver face to face training at various training events both internally and externally for Virgin Mobile
o Represent Virgin Mobile at events and tradeshows with audiences of over 200
o Look at new ways of delivering training which drives engagement, reduces cost and delivers against brand principles
o Accountable to ensure timely delivery of training for all organizational needs and identifying optimal vehicles to accomplish goals.
o Own the creation and maintenance of Sales Tools and Job Aid
o Manage delivery assets
o Thorough understanding of the Virgin Mobile brand & culture that’s reflected in all designed materials
o Design live training and sales tools for multiple sales channels, adhering to Brand guidelines
o Partner with the Brand Team to gather creative assets
o Design messaging with creativity and clarity, determining the most appropriate training vehicle.
o Identify support gaps within various business groups (Care and Channel) to mitigate issues through training, process or communications
What are we looking for from you?
o Bilingual in English and French is required
o University degree in business, communications or education
o Strong training delivery skills - can deliver training materials in a fun and interesting way to large and small audiences at various levels of the business
o Solid Instructional Design skills – ability to synthesise content into simple, fun, on-brand messaging
o A sense of humour and creative flair
o A competitive streak and determination to win
o Solid attention to detail
o Knowledge of the wireless and retail industry
o Strong organizational and prioritization skills
o Travel within Canada: 25-50%
o Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle required
