Medix College is looking to hire a Business Affairs Administrator for the Toronto and Scarborough campuses.

The successful candidate will:

Be comfortable making collection calls and sending collection notices.
Previous Collections experience an asset.
Have knowledge of the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).
Previous Financial Aid Administrator experience an asset.
Advise prospective students of all tuition funding sources available.
Create estimated financial plans for prospective and current students.
Strong attention to detail.
Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to travel

Duties & Responsibilities for the Position of Financial Aid Officer - Business Affairs

Your Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Collection of current and old accounts.
Working within the “performance requirements for the administration of student financial assistance” at all times you will be:

  • Interviewing prospective students to determine the best option of tuition payment
  • Administration of Student loan funding from start to finish
  • Administration of Payment plan arrangements including cash collection and bad dept recovery.
  • Default management

Yearly training in association with the Ontario Association of Career College and the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities.

All other director requested and approved tasks.

You will report directly to Tanya Cioffi – Director of Financial Aid and Peter Dykstra – Director Medix College
