Child Care Centre Director Job Posting

Job Purpose: Located in Ecole Cardinal Leger School in Saskatoon, SK., the Centre Director is responsible for the management and administration of the CLECC, ensuring quality care of all children of CLECC.( CLECC is a parent run co-operative that is separate from the school board)

This is a full-time, salaried position. Rate will be determined by years of experience and level of training.

  • Saskatchewan Early Childhood Association Membership
  • Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Level B
  • Early Childhood Educator Level III certification
  • Administrative & Accounting experience in a daycare or early childhood education environment
  • Strong organizational and people management skills as well as financial and budgeting knowledge
  • Working knowledge of computer software such as MS Word and Excel

The day to day management and administration of CLECC including:

  • Representing CLECC in a positive and professional manner
  • Supporting, reporting to, and assisting the Board of Directors
  • Ensuring a safe, organized, healthy environment for children, families, and staff
  • Communicating and collaborating with parents and guardians of CLECC’s children
  • Overseeing the planning, preparation, and implementation of a program of activities that meets the developmental abilities of each child
  • Managing the day to day finances of the centre and ensuring that accurate and complete financial information is maintained
  • All aspects of HR management including recruitment, training, evaluation, supervision and scheduling
  • Leading and mentoring staff in the daycare, preschool, and before/after school programs
