Reporting to the Construction Manager for Cardel Lifestyles (the multi-family division of Cardel) the Project Administrator will be require the following:

Skills
Computer Literacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Desire & Ability to learn new computer programs
Interpersonal/Communication – Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Organization/Multi-tasking
Attention to Detail

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Compilation & distribution of drawings, contracts, tender packages and other construction documents. This would include:
- Downloading drawings from Architects website and filing them in the appropriate job folder.
- Sending these
Communicate and Follow-up with trades to ensure that contracts and tenders are returned by designated deadlines
Use Timberline Accounting software to generate Purchase orders & Change orders.
Periodic review of various reports to ensure that Purchase orders and Change orders are coded correctly
Send purchase orders & change orders out to trades
Scan & Send upgrade selections to applicable trades
Review upgrade selections and issue Purchase orders to all applicable trades
Construction Document Management
- Scanning, photocopying, faxing, saving and distributing electronic documents
- Labeling/Setting up file folders for construction document filing of new projects
Performing material quantity takeoffs using On Screen Takeoff software. Compiling takeoff information into an excel spreadsheet for review.
Assembling historic cost data from previous projects for comparison and budget development.

This is a full-time role Monday to Friday
