 Maintaining and reporting in a concise manner, both SLA and KPI agreements in line with contractual obligations. Also reviewing on a regular basis in a bid to consistently improve service value to the client, and enhance their experience.
 Continual Improvement strategies to improve Problem Management, and the Service Desk as a whole, including Back Office functions.
 Interaction with Incident Management to monitor workflow and spot any potential issues arising, as well as identifying history of issues before bringing into the PM Function. Engagement with Change Management to monitor the progress of changes being raised as a result of ongoing investigations, including the Forward Schedule of Change.
 Attending CAB meetings with Change Management to confirm all approvals have been covered and process is being adhered to, highlighting potential blockers.
 Assisting in the transformation and transition of the PM function to the Highlands, including in-depth training for replacement staff (Up-Skilling).

A typical day at Capgemini is getting straight into the job role as soon as you sign on the phones. Sometimes when it was busy it was abit sudden as you got a call as soon as you started on the dot at 9am but after the first call it all begins as usual. Management (on my team, this doesn't apply to all of Capgemini) need to realise that they cannot – more... bring their personal life into work and that regardless of how you feel towards the people you manage, you need to treat everybody the exact same.
Co-workers were amazing, we were like a little family. All participated in nights out which were enjoyed by all and the banter was very good.
Hardest part of the job was the length of time between breaks especially during busy periods, the mornings sometimes felt like hours and hours on end but by it hit 1pm it was fine.
Most enjoyable part of the job was speaking to some of the clients, some of them can be so nice and they speak to you like a human. There is the occasional "What's the weather like up there?" chat but I always enjoyed it. – less
