Timings are very flexible..The only disadvantage i had there i was not able to get productive work and we can say development work.

-Datastage and SAP BO Data Services
-Completed my Teradata Basic level Ceritification.
-Co-workeres are very co-operative.

Good Place to work for but due to some unavoidable situations i am looking for a change. But, I have learned very great experience in the subject and it has given a chance to prove my self, has helped me to excel.
And also there are some drawbacks with the company .

A brief background would be 5+ years of experience in HR sector. Presently I am associated with Capgemini since January, 2011 in the HR Department looking after Recruitment Services, administration and Mobility services. My Transition experience is associated with Mobility Services where I brought the entire gamut of Service to Capgemini Kolkata.Prior – more... to this I have been associated with Wipro ltd in the training and development team. A typical day at work starts with few reports that I have to run regards candidate profiling for recruitment services and travel tracking for Mobility. I consider each and every day to be a lesson which enhances my learning curve. The management only had two strong leaders. The supervisors were very unprofessional and disrespectful.

• Performing SQL Server daily health check and preparing a report based on it
• Monitoring Disk Space of all the Servers and freeing up space as per SQL Server i.e. Older Backups, Unused Files etc
• Handling creation of new SQL Server databases as per Client/Application Team request using Build Sheet Template
• Scheduled and maintain routine Jobs, Alerts – more... and Maintenance Plans
• Applying Service Packs and Security patches for the Servers as released
• Monitoring the Log Space for successful execution of all the specified jobs
• Managing backups on a daily basis and recovery (as per request)
• Reviewing SQL Server and SQL Server Agent Error Logs
• Log shipping of SQL Servers meeting the Service level agreements for the various customers

• Experience in implementing different types of Replication models like Transactional Replication
• Successfully planned and implemented SQL Server 2005 Database Mirroring
• Involved in Clustering and performing failover on a cluster from one node to another – less

I have been allowed to learn much involving my sales skills throgh Capgemini-GS. After working in the private sector, it has been a great learning experience to be involved with public sector sales.

Very stressful environment due to nature of the outsourcing business and lack of proper staffing levels

I was very happy here, but without any warning they moved my whole department's jobs to another office in Scotland. So Job Security is not great :(
