CBU invites applications for the one-year, full-time term position of Program Development Scientist – Environmental Systems in the Verschuren Centre for Sustainability in Energy & the Environment (VCSEE).
The successful candidate will provide sector expertise in environmental remediation, assist in program development and management of a portfolio of on-going projects within a multi-disciplinary team. The incumbent will also be responsible for identifying, developing and establishing new work contracts for the VCSEE. Work areas may include, but are not limited to, municipal solid waste, industrial processing waste (including mining), wastewater treatment (including acid mine drainage from sulphide bearing mines), contaminated site remediation and/or pollution control/abatement technologies.
