We are currently looking for Horizontal Directional Drillers for our Regina area.

Responsibilities include:

Working closely with the Foreman and other members of a construction crew to ensure that safe and efficient drilling procedures are followed. Experience with the following is required:

Operating Ditch Witch Directional Drills, JT520, JT922, JT2020, 30/20 and the sub-site locating systems
On site trouble shooting and repairs
Pulling all styles of fluted reamers from 6" to 14"
Experience with Pulling back Polyethylene, Steel pipe and Conduit

You have:

Completion of High School and proof of further technical training from a recognized post secondary institution or training provider
1 -5 years previous experience in the construction industry
Clean and current driver’s License; Class 5 Preference given to Class 3 with air or Class 1 with air or willingness to upgrade.
Able to travel throughout the province of Manitoba
Ability to lift upwards of 20 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated (by references) ability to work with others
Demonstrated (by references) positive attitude
Experience operating controls of sub-surface horizontal drill.
Ability to communicate verbally, and in writing, clearly and concisely
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to perform the duties of this position correctly and safely
Drivers abstract required
Strong Knowledge of Directional Drill techniques and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret working drawings.
