The Canadian Urban Institute (CUI) is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager. Based in Toronto, Canada, the Project Manager organizes project resources to deliver on time, on budget and meeting quality requirements; contributes to the pursuit of new business and provides technical direction in projects dealing with municipal infrastructure, asset management and local economic development and; develops written communications to projects and business opportunities. This position currently involves spending 50% of time managing CUI’s international cooperation program on local economic development in the Philippines. The balance of time will be spent across other projects dealing with urban infrastructure and business development activities.
Applicants should have a proven track record in international cooperation programming in developing countries; at least five years of work experience in managing multi-year, complex and large-scale projects and relevant professional qualifications and experience in a technical field such as engineering, planning or applied sciences.
