The general manager will be responsible for running the store and assisting with the service centre when needed. Your focus should be on establishing a customer-focused culture with strong systems and disciplines.
Duties are as follows: - Achieve sales, magin and wage budget plans.
-Continue to develop and outstanding customer service culture through leading by example, training and clear communication.
-Responsible for the look and feel of the retail floor. Includes planning & executing promotional areas, seasonal floor plans and changeovers.
-Develop and execute a strong logistics system that drives a high instock position and meets our customer expectations for fullness.
-Leader in attention to details and disciplines to ensure a high level of retail execution.
-Responsible for the team's performance and establishing their priorities/goals.
Assist in product ordering and identifying new opportunities to drive sales.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in a retail environment with escalating responsibilites including budgeting, leadership and guidance.
Superior interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
