Our client, a professional services firm is currently seeking a detail oriented individual for the role of Payroll Administrator to provide reliable, timely, and professional support to the Payroll and Benefits Manager.


  • Reconciliation and remittance of all payroll and company benefit statements
  • Working knowledge and support of WSIB/WCB reporting
  • Answering questions on Payroll policies and procedures across Canada
  • Assist with processing the full cycle of biweekly payroll in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and maintenance of all payroll data records
  • Assist in the audit and alignment of data within the personnel database and files
  • Support PeopleSoft integration with ADP


  • Completion of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification is desirable, as is experience with ADP payroll systems and advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft
  • At least 1-3 years of payroll administration experience
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, with a focus on Payroll
  • Advance knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and maintain accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience providing exceptional customer service
  • Must be client focused, able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgement, and work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to demonstrate professionalism at all times
  • French is an asset
