Fleet Manager, B737-300

Support of the Canadian North maintenance control system with regards to the B737-300, including:
Assist MOC in troubleshooting aircraft issues
Full authority to remove aircraft from operational status
Tolerance Approval Authority
Authority for MEL extension approvals other than category A
Assist in B737 Maintenance contracts
Coordinate production of the monthly reliability report
Coordination/chair of the quarterly reliability meetings
Coordinator/chair of production of the weekly repeat defect report
Coordinate production of the weekly AD review report
Provide technical assistance related to recurring defect and/or reliability issues
Modification planning and budgeting for the applicable fleet type
Liaison for the OEM and operational entities (IOSA Std MNT 1.2.3)
Configuration and modification status of their applicable fleet
Flight Permit signing authority (as per Section 7 of MCM)
Coordination and review of engine health monitor trending
Support for maintenance program change form development on B737
MEL liaison with Flight Operations
Training syllabus coordination for elementary work and AMO training on specific items related to Canadian North operation
Initiating safety bulletins
Work card amendment coordination support
Coordinate with Quality Assurance for SDR submissions
During absence these responsibilities may be appointed subject to acceptance of the Senior Manager, Maintenance Operations
Assist other Fleet Managers as required and other duties as assigned.
Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License with M2 Rating
Minimum 5 years experience with large aircraft
Preference given to persons with B737-200/300 endorsement courses
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Exceptional time management skills
Demonstrate high degree of emotional maturity and ability to operate under stressful situations
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no stipulations
Clean criminal record
