Warehouse Technician (Current Employee) – Fort McMurray, AB – 3 March 2014
The best oil and gas company that I worked so far. I work at the warehouse issue counter during my day shift 7/7 and work in recieving area on my night shifts. I learned a lot working as a warehouse technician under materials management/supply management. I love my co-workers. The hardest part of my job is being there for too long. I spent 7 years with CNRL, I am looking for a new company to work with. The most enjoyable part of my job is during Christmas time and just working with nice people and a great team.
Inventory Analyst (Former Employee) – Fort Mackay, AB – 16 November 2017
Checking if inventory was up-to-date and correcting any discrepancies found for any materials and then finding a solution for it. Co-workers are friendly and willing to help with any questions or needs. Hardest part of the job is doing the same things over and over for a long period of time in the day. Sometimes this means working inside a warehouse on a 30 degree+ day with a coverall on and a hardhat and safety glasses that sweat your brains out. Overall a great experience but the pay is very low for a summer student.
Low pay for an oil company, no overtime, no paid travel time to and from work.
