As Director, Supply Chain and Finance you will:

  • Be responsible for all supply chain, including procurement and logistics planning
  • Manage Operations for Iceberg Harvest and Port Union Facility
  • Manage Relationship with Newfoundland Liquor Corp (blending and bottling)
  • Guide the strategy, policies, processes and accounting and financial controls
  • Be in charge of financial planning, prepare budgets, forecast updates
  • Manage financial statements and period closings

You will have accountability for:

  • Supply Chain:

 NLC/Rock management
 Logistics planning (sales forecast, materials demand, bottling plan)
 Supply chain coordination with Liquor Boards, agents and export customers
 Cost optimization & control
 Supplier Negotiations and management: Alcohol supply, packaging a dry goods
 Water harvest management including Marine asset: Iceberg Harvester
 Port Union Facility management

  • Accounting:

 Oversee Invoice Processing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Expense management & control
 Agent, Liquor Board and Export expense review and management
 Cash management & control, Bank relationship

  • Reporting:

 Financial planning (Budget, Forecast updates)
 Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly financials, bank reporting, management reporting

  • Finance and other responsibilities:

 Pricing & Business Analysis
 Capital expenditure management
 Legal & Insurance
 Office management
 Board support

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 year experience in supply chain and finance/accounting
  • University degree, in business ideally focused on operations or finance
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks essential
