Reporting to the President & CEO, the chosen HR Manager will be influential in helping the senior team develop the company. The HR Manager will be responsible fro providing a range of functional support to align to the business plan while helping foster a “lean” culture that promotes employee involvement.
Key accountabilities include:
- Guiding and managing the design, development and implementation of all people-related services, policies, and programs.
- Assisting and advising all managers about HR issues.
- Developing and leading HR practices and objectives for development of an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, personal development, productivity and the recruitment and ongoing development of a high performance workforce.
- Developing processes and metrics that support the achievement of the CAESP’s business goals while ensuring legal compliance of all CAESP people management activities with applicable human resource federal and provincial requirements.

You will have minimum of 8 years of work experience in human resources, operations, leadership and organizational development. You will be a practical “down to earth” leader prepared to share your experiences with the rest of the senior team. You will hold a Bachelor’s degree with a Business and/or HR focus. CHRP designation and Lean experience will be an asset. You will have good communication skills, both verbal and written, well-developed organization and project management skills, and the ability to lead, You will be capable of taking initiative and be creative in developing programs. A second language in a European, Middle Eastern or Asian language will be an asset.
