Required Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technicians by our Canadian Clients

Requirements for heavy equipment technicians.
- must be familiar with Cat, Hitachi, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, and Terex mine trucks, articulated trucks, mining shovels, excavators, bull dozers, pipelayers,wheel loaders, conventional and hydraulic cranes, compactors and scrapers

- must have excellent troubleshooting and repair skills on mining, oilfield, pipeline and construction equipment
- these skills must be demonstrated in diesel engines, powertrain, undercarriage, electrical, electronic and hydraulic systems

- should be well versed in the latest electronic, engine and hydraulic test equipment
- must have excellent comprehension and clerical skills in english as well as fluent in english
-must have red seal certification or equivalent
- must be able to perform in all weather conditions and situations
- must be able to handle all tasks given in a courteous and timely manner
-must have a clean Alberta drivers abstract or equivalent
- must a have an excellent safety record
- should have a good set of professional hand tools( company supplies the rest)

Field wages range from 42 to 48 an hour depending on experience
overtime is paid after 40 hours per week, which is time and a half
pay schedule is every second Sunday, auto deposit
any expenses incurred are paid the 15th of every month
there are two work rotations, 14 in 7 out or 21 in 10 out
700.00 is paid for travel costs once every rotation
all jobs are camp supplied all inclusive
if you are put on another job where there is no camp yet, rooms are paid, or we have a house in Fort Mac. , with 50.00 a day for meals
