Position Summary:

The ideal candidate MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Corporate Insolvency Administrator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties may include and are not limited to:

- Processing correspondence and documents

- Proficient Windows/Microsoft Word

- Preparing Court documents

- Assistance in the administration of corporate bankruptcies, receiverships, Proposals and other engagements

- Dealing with calls from creditors and clients on various matters

- Sharing responsibilities in some limited event planning and other general marketing related activities

- Perform monitoring of both informal and formal appointments under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Corporate Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA)

- Organization of files (opening, closing, filing, etc.)

- Perform monitoring of both informal and informal proposals made by insolvent debtors to creditors for financial institutions, other creditors and shareholders

- Acting in capacity as liquidators of both solvent and insolvent companies and distribute whatever additional property remains.

- Prepare informal arrangements to restructure debts for both companies and individuals

- Photocopying documentation

- Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings

- Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently to all inquiries

- Directs preparation of meeting agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings

- General office administration

- Other duties as may be required


- Excellent communication skills

- High level of Written and Oral skills

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Detail Oriented skills

- Time Management skills

- Confidence in interacting with all levels of management and external clients

- General office administration

- Co-ordinate office facilities
