The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for optimizing Stepan Canada’s on-time and linefill customer service performance, while contributing to the overall site operations.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead logistics operations to optimize on-time and linefill customer service performance.
Effectively administer TMS while ensuring compliance and best practice processes are being maintained.
Transportation – Schedule shipments daily. Use SAP and TMS to identify orders, create paperwork, and verify shipments. Dispatch required equipment to meet customer schedule. Expedite and deal with non-compliance, ensure effective routing. Along with International traffic, arrange for international movements including documentation and compliance, expedite and relieve roadblocks where required.
Supply Chain – Develop cost savings to drive out cost. Optimize SAP & TMS to address on-time line-fill. SAP – PI’s; BOM’s; Goods Issued; Receiving; Inventory analysis; Updating master receipts.
Oversee compliance with Responsible Care’s Accountability Code, including participation on Ontario’s Regional Transcaer Committee and managing the transportation emergency program.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will provide back-up coverage Purchasing, including covering a portion of Shift Team Leader overtime
Implement and maintain 5S programs throughout the plant.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management including 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate will have excellent planning, organizational, training, teamwork and presentation skills. Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment. Refined management/administrative skills are required.
