We are currently hiring a full time Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our dynamic team in South East Calgary. The applicant must be a team player, possess a positive attitude, be diligent and detail oriented. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prompt and courteous answering and directing of incoming calls
Schedule and prepare outgoing mail and courier shipments while ensuring waybills are completed correctly
Distribute incoming mail and faxes
Schedule office equipment maintenance and service
Support managers and staff with administrative needs
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Two or more years in an administrative role
Demonstrate professionalism
Advanced Word skills, Intermediate Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint knowledge
Strong editing and proofreading abilities
Ability to multitask and manage a challenging workload
Ability to provide assistance to Management in various duties including document creation and formatting, record keeping, spreadsheet creation and some accounting related tasks
Ability to work in a team environment with or without supervision
Possess strong communication skills
Willing to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
