Position Summary
This position responds to calls and coordinates requests from external clients requiring mobile services with Mobile team members.

Key Accountabilities
 Responds to requests from nursing homes and physicians for mobile phlebotomy and ECG services.
 Prioritizes calls with respect to immediacy, determining the appropriateness of mobile services. Obtains pertinent patient information from physician, and schedules mobile visit.
 Documents requests, completes requisitions and communicates requests to Mobile Laboratory Assistant for the geographic area.
 Maintains schedules of mobile visits, reprioritizing and rescheduling as operational needs arise.
 Responds to numerous customer requests.
 Works closely with mobile supervisor to meet operational needs.
 Perform other related duties as required.

Key Skills and Aptitudes
 High school graduation and further post secondary education relating to the job, such as laboratory assistant, unit clerk, medical office assistant, nursing preferred.
 Previous experience with Cerner Millennium required.
 Strong Windows and keyboarding skills required.
 Medical terminology and knowledge of medical laboratory testing required.
 Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
 Ability to maintain required standards in performance of duties.
 Requires a strong customer service focus.
 High regard for patient confidentiality is required.
 Proven organizational skills with good attention to detail and accuracy.
 Capable of working independently under time constraints as well as in a team setting.
 Must be able to work efficiently and effectively given exposure to continuous interruptions.
 Must be energetic and positive.
