This is a generalist role, requiring broad human resources experience that will support the agency through the development and administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs.
Successful candidates will possess:
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive broad experience in Human Resources including policy development, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits
Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related area
Solid understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of relevant employment legislation
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
Able to make sound judgments requiring confidentiality, tact and diplomacy within tight timelines
Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
