Strong writing and communication skills are required to conduct research on important trends, issues and developments in public policy in Calgary and in Alberta. Looking for student pursuing a Masters degree or above in social work, political science, sociology, the social sciences, humanities or other relevant field of study. Must be knowledgeable on public policy issues affecting labour and workers in Calgary and Alberta. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have ability to give attention to detail. This position shall be a member of the Canadian Office and Professional Employees Union Local 397. DURATION: 13 weeks over the summer months. WAGE: $25/hr plus in lieu of benefits accommodation.
