Pros: incentives, annual raises, good discounts, work parties, benefits, always opportunity to move up
Cons: management is never around and don't interact with the customers
A typical day at work consist of answering phones, customer interaction, placing customer orders, processing new items, planograms, merchandising.
In my five years of being with the company I've learned about planograms, clothing, a new perspective on retail, learning more about people and being more interacted with people.
Management is good when are – more... around, sometimes they can be hard to find.
The co-workers are amazing, they all work well together and can all come together as a team to get the job done.
The hardest part of the job is having management understand the fact that doing a project can take longer then they expect due to Cabela's core values, which is customer service is always number 1.
The most enjoyable part of my job is helping customers and learning they're needs and seeing their face when I have done everything and anything to help them get what they came into the store for. – less
