CTG Brands Inc. is a major importer and distributor of consumer products with distribution facilities in Vaughan, Ontario and Burnaby, B.C. We design, manufacture, and import a wide range of branded consumer products, home décor and seasonal programs that we distribute to retail chains and independent retailers across Canada and the U.S.
We are recruiting for a Showroom Merchandiser at our Head Office in Vaughan, Ontario (Keele & Hwy 7). The key duties of this position include:
- Maintaining all parts of the showroom in a professional and presentable condition at all times.
- Displaying product samples in the most visually presentable and sales driving manner.
- Coordinating the distribution of samples to regional showrooms.
- Coordinating the setup of in-house and off-site trade shows and special sales events.
- Providing customers with assistance in relation to products and sales.
The applicant, preferably a graduate with post-secondary education, must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail merchandising and visual display. You have a strong aptitude for design and decoration and the personality to deliver attentive customer service. Proficiency in MS Office and Photoshop is also required. The position is best fitted to highly motivated applicants who excel in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking is a norm.
