CTG Brands Inc. is a major importer and distributor of consumer products with distribution facilities in Vaughan, Ontario and Burnaby, B.C. We design, manufacture, and import a wide range of branded consumer products, home décor and seasonal programs that we distribute to retail chains and independent retailers across Canada and the U.S.
We have available a 6-month contract position for a Showroom Merchandiser for our western distribution centre in Burnaby, B.C. The key duties of this position include:
- Ensuring that all parts of the showroom are kept in a professional and presentable condition.
- Displaying samples in the most visually presentable and sales driving manner.
- Coordinating the setup of in-house and off-site trade shows and special sales events.
- Providing with visiting customers and sales representatives assistance in relation to products.
The applicant, preferably a graduate with post-secondary education, must have a minimum of 2 years experience in retail merchandising and visual display and possess a strong background in sales and customer service. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and desktop publishing programs is also required. The position is best fitted to highly motivated applicants who excel in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking is a norm.
