Description: Maintenance Supervisor
Managing the day to day plant maintenance.
Directly supervising the activities of the front line maintenance employees charged with then performance and verification of the mechanical and electrical work in the plant.
Coordinate and monitor the activities of all maintenance employees.
Participate in the identification of training needs for assigned plant maintenance personnel and coordinate training.
Participate in appropriate safety training for all assigned employees.
Ensure that preventive action is taken to avoid the occurrence of nonconformities relating to product or process or to the quality system.
Recommend solutions to problems related to the product or process, or to the quality system, and when approved, participate in the implementation, management and verification of those solutions.
Participate in the coordination of repairs during outages to maintain a safe and effective flow of work to reduce downtime.
Participate in the supervision of the installation and testing of electrical equipment.
Positive & proactive attitude with ability to address issues and implement solutions.
Maintaining heavy equipment, Leading in 5WHY & FMEA root cause analysis, vendor management skills highly required.

Must have a great understanding of hydraulic presses, SAW welding machine, surface treatment equipment (blasting, painting), bending machine, welders, etc.

Scheduling and monitoring of contractors (Electrical and Mechanical).
Work on design modification for equipment improvement.
Lead TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program, JIT maintenance & spare part management program.
Responsible for QMS (Equipment) document management.
Responsible for maintaining and improving equipment maintenance and reliability processes to optimize efficiency, productivity, reliability, cost, quality, safety and customer service while focusing on the people relationships required to get results.


Obtained a Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering.
5 + years of experience in a Maintenance management role, plus P.ENG preferable.
Strong sense of initiative and responsibility, planning skills with preventive mind-set.
Should be open-minded to corrective actions for continuous improvements.
Capability of reading hydraulic diagrams and mechanical drawings.
Automation and control system (PLC, HMI, process instrument) experience/understanding preferable.
Strong sense of team-building skills for synergic output/performance.
Communication skills for information/knowledge sharing.
