National Account Sales Manager Western Canada

Do you stalk your prey and the love the Hunt? Seeking a National Account Sales Manager for Western Canada that preferably has worked in within foodservice. My client a privately owned Canadian company and leader in fully cooked protein category has been taking the market by storm since the 80’s and is expanding once again. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales – Foodservice you will be responsible for all aspects of the business within the assign region. You will be responsible to strengthen current relationships with existing National/Regional Foodservice Accounts and expected to secure new business. You will ensure that customer needs and expectations are met while executing and administering annual Fiscal Budgets.

Responsibilities:

Presentation of product lines to client head office and store location staff
Develop promotional plans with key account s to maximize return to the category
Lead solution development efforts that address account performance objectives and customer expectations
Increase profitability and maintain good business relationships
Monitor sell through to finish and grow floor positioning
Analysis of sales results regarding trends, opportunities and risks, develop strategies to respond appropriately
Manage the CRM tool to create and manage data reporting for growth of the assigned territory

Requirements:

At least 5 years sales experience with at minimum of 3 years in a Key Account management role in the Foodservice Industry. Protein focus would be beneficial
Current knowledge of buying trends in Canadian Food Service market
Strategic thinking skills with the ability to attract new business and develop and grow the customer base through identifying new opportunities within their designated territory; Hunter mentality and style is strongly desired.
Be a high energy and performance driven with a strong desire for continuous improvement along with the ability to work in a team environment.
Superior negotiating, planning, organizational, time management, computer, oral and written skills.
Occasional travel throughout Western Canada is required
