RETAIL LOSS PREVENTION OFFICER
Applications are now being accepted from licensed and experienced loss prevention officers to work in large, retail department and clothing stores. Full Time and Part Time positions are available.
Starting pay ranges from $16 - $18/hour and averages $19 - $25/hour for well experienced LPO's that consistently achieve high numbers of arrests and recoveries.
Patrol the sales floor and apprehend shoplifters and persons committing criminal acts on company property.
Work with store associates to identify key areas of loss and apply effective strategies to reduce losses due to theft and fraud.
Report writing, witness statements and documentation of statistics and productivity. EPS Co-operative policing report formats.
Support store management and the loss prevention manager as required.
VALID LOSS PREVENTION LICENSE - NO CRIMINAL HISTORY
Trustworthy and reliable - high level of integrity
Retail Loss Prevention Experience
Physically fit and capable of performing all job related functions
Professional, clean cut and well articulated
Fluent English communication - spoken and written
Highly motivated team player who strives to exceed minimum expectations
Must be reliable, punctual and focused on achieving results.
Flexible availability - able to work retail hours
Excellent knowledge of the criminal code and charter
PPCT and handcuff training an asset
Formal Loss Prevention Course/Training an asset
