CNB Computers Inc. is hiring for the position of Technical Customer Support Specialist. As the Technical Customer Service Rep. you will be responsible for meeting the various needs of CNB customers with a systematic approach to IT product and service problem solving. You should consider yourself an expert in Window product support, as well as proficient in the support of various product and services offered by CNB Computers. This immensely busy role will require excellent communication and follow-up skills. The incumbent must pride themselves in closing all open customer technical support issues while focused on complete customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Must be computer literate and possess a technical aptitude
2. IT industry technical certifications beneficial
3. PC Literate with MS Office knowledge
4. Must be able to resolve inbound customer inquiries around computer related issues
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
1. Respond to incoming calls from field service technicians, end-users, and distributor personnel as needed
2. Assist Customer Service Reps with maintaining customer service support where required.
3. Maintain Service parts Inventory to support claims volume
4. Assist with conducting product evaluation and Training as needed by customers
5. Assist with proofing of technical requests and bulletins as needed
6. Become proficient in supporting IT product support as required
7. Work with the Management team to ensure all aspects of Technical Support are provided and maintained
8. Offer suggestions on how to make improvements.
9. Provide written reports as requested.
10. Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
College diploma, technical certification, and/or a combination of education and experience
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
2 years of experience in a technical customer support role
