The City of Saint John is seeking qualified candidates for a Finance Clerk in the Finance & Administrative Services Division. Under the general supervision of the Payroll Administrator, this position ensures that all employees and Pensioners of the City of Saint John are paid accurately and on time. This role is the initial point of contact for all payroll related inquiries and must keep informed of any changes and updates to Government Legislation, Collective Agreements and Employment Standards.
The successful candidate will possess a diploma or degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and a minimum three years’ experience in payroll. The ideal candidate will possess the Payroll Management Certificate (PMCP).
