Position Title: Network Engineering Associate

The Network Analyst - will report to the Plant IT Manager, work closely with another Network Engineer. Responsible for LAN Administration, PBX/IPTel phone systems administration, Trunk Radio system administration. Key
Deliverables & Responsibilities: - Work closely with network planner to upgrade network. - Work with Central network support group to replace network switch as required - Maintain and document spare network equipment - Document network equipment and perform required regular audits - Coordinate Ethernet drop cabling, - Troubleshoot network issue - Migrate PBX phone systems to IPTel Phones - Administer Trunk Radio Systems - Other tasks as directed by the Plant IT Manager.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to set schedules, manage time, and multiple priorities - Work effectively with business partners - Occasionally required to deal with emergency situations on weekends and at nights.
- Familiar with VLAN, ACL, WAN - SQL Server, Microsoft .NET programming - Process discipline
- At least 5 years of experience working with Cisco switches and routers - Work in a unionized advanced manufacturing environment
- IT related university degree preferred - Holds, or is working toward CNA certification
