We have an exciting Management opportunity available in our Burnaby office. This role will assist in ensuring the management and smooth operation of a collection division on a day-to-day basis. The Divisional Manager builds a positive work atmosphere while motivating, training, coaching and developing their Supervisor(s), Collection and Trace employees.
Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
Training, developing, and leading a dynamic team of collectors while ensuring individual and divisional targets are met
Directing, advising, coaching, mentoring and developing divisional Supervisors
Interacting effectively with other departments and branches
Facilitating Client requirements, compliance management and adapting to new demands as they arise
Preparing reports as required for your employees and management
Performing administrative and organizational tasks relating to the position
You are a leader, able to motivate and get the best out of people
You have exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills
You possess strong analytical, problem solving and good time management skills
You are able to cope under pressure and deliver superior results
You have intermediate exposure to MS Office Suite programs and above average typing skills
You have a solid understanding of the collection industry with a minimum of 2 years 3rd party Collection experience and 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
You are willing to enroll in a Leadership Development course recommended by the Director of Human Resources as a condition of the position
