Canyon Technical Services is currently looking to add a qualified outgoing personnel to the sales team in the role of, Technical Account Manager. This position is responsible for selling Canyon Technical Services Ltd. products and services through the achievement of opportunity based sales quotas. This position is required to provide high level customer service to existing and potential customers. Excellent communication skills will help the successful candidate reach business targets. Our new Technical Account Manager will have a technical background with superior communication skills and proven sales abilities in oil and gas.

Key Responsibility Areas:
Generate new business and increase revenues through sales of Canyon products and services
Prospect new customers through referrals and providing “face time”
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers within assigned customer base
Develop sales plans and objectives that are aligned with the corporations objectives
Maintain a superior customer service from contract execution to aftersales support
Prepare presentations with accurate and relevant information, and demonstrate the ability to adequately and professionally provide ftimely ollow up to customers

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Petroleum Technology Diploma
Current membership in ASET and APEGA an asset, combination of experience and education will be considered
5 years experience in a similar role
Some field experience would be a definite asset
Excellent communication skills
Experience or an aptitude for leadership is essential
Previous successful account management experience is paramount
